cam upgrade ?

ok so... i want to do a cam upgrade but i do not want to go to much.. what i want is somthing that i will notice a diff and will not hurt the engine to much! any ideas ?

You'll have to check the ECU to verify if it is or isn't. The 95 is the only 2g that had the EPROM ECU; if you don't have it then you can go with the 98/99 flashable ECU or the Evo ECU as well. What brand of wideband do you have?

well i push 12 psi on a 97 eclipse gst with evo 3 turbo, turbo back 3 inch exhaust system, walbro 255 fuel pump with stock injectors, injen intake, b&m fpr set to 43psi, with a 1g swap so im pretty sure its possible

So what idc's do you see at 6800-7000 rpm with those stock injectors?

ok just checked my ecu and i do have a eprom. my car was made in 94 but is a 95, so is there any other tuning solutions that don't cost as much as dsmlink or free ? i will get dsmlink later on just for now want somthing to take advantage of.

also i read with dsmlink they send you a pic chip flashed with the binary it needs.. this might be something i can get more into. as im a computer geek first and foremost! coding is my 1st love!

If you want something cheaper than just burn your own chips. You'll need to do some searching as not everything is going to be spoon fed for you. It's just like the Keydriver chips that you can get, they only have one tune on them but you can send them back for a small fee and get a new tune burned.

If it's a stock car you need to spend your money other ways first to benifit you more right now then upgrade cams when you are ready.

What else should I spend money on first before cams?
