Huh, I was in on that group buy at the last minute but due to confusion and Orl.dsm going down combined with money flow I had to back out. Kinda glad I did now.

Yeah it sucks that the sellers paypal account was frozen. The seller told me to file a dispute on paypal to get my money back.

On a side note, I ordered a set of cams directly from Briancrower.com last night and they just sent me a tracking number for the package. Talk about badass service.

Mine only took a week to arrive. Clearly, BC is serious about DSM market share. Now, if they'd make an affordable long rod and a couple models of affordable cranks...

You should call them up then, the stuff they post on the BC website is like 25% of what they actually make, they actually do sell rods for dsms.

First, I know this is a old subject, but reading this I count help but comment. Dont get confused, ORLDSM did not put on that group buy... It was some loser from Kissimmee, FL named Rufo. He just posted it on ORLDSM. I looked at that group buy, but it seemed to good to be true... so I passed.

Anyway, so many people here said they ordered and never posted back any results. I talked to Brian and ordered the 280's and valvetrain and I am sure they will be awesome. I was very dissapointed though before I ordered, i did alot of searching on this and other forums and could not get find 'results', just a bunch of people saying they ordered and then nothing else.

Come on people if you are running these cams, post up how you like them! I would really like to hear how bumpy the 280's are.

I know that ORLDSM had nothing to do with that group buy. Their forums went down (broke) right after I PM'd the guy and that's half the reason I didn't get in on it. I had time to reconsider and other expenses came up.

I also think it's strange that there are so few reviews. Selling cams at a loss-leader price to get the word out doesn't work as well if nobody says anything about the cams after they buy them, so it hasn't worked out very well so far, haha.

I think the people that got these cams so cheap owe it to BC to post up how they like them, and if they suck (I am pretty sure they dont) they own it to us fellow DSMers to post up! Regardless I think there should be some reviews. I know I will keep everyone informed!

no, but importevolution.com is letting BC cams go for right under 300. Springs/Retainers are still pretty cheap at 220 or so a set.

If you go through Brian Crower direct he will cut you a deal. Alot of the vendors as stated are also selling them cheap. You can not beat the 300 price. BC Direct is going to run you just over 500 for the cam/spring/ti retainer combo. I think most the dealers are the same. That I think qualifies as dirt cheap.
