Starting to get some money for "Project 550whp DSM"..its gonna be my shop car :thumb: ..im gonna have it as a quick daily : )..i wanna make the 550+whp on high boost w/ race gas for racing but for DAILY ill run pump gas and make 450+wheel...i pretty much got everything sorted out except rods...ive heard so much thing about all the rods and i just cant decide!!! need your votes on this please!!!

Everyone wanted more Slowboy Racing / Manley Performance collaborations this year, so we did it again for 2006. Announcing Manley Performance's newest connecting rod innovation for the 4G63, H-Beam Connecting Rods. Great Manley Performance quality at half the cost of there I-Beam rods and still made in the U-S-A!



Model: 90-92 6 Bolt H Beam Rod .827 pin - Manley 14021-493+ 7 Bolt H Beam Rod .866 pin - Manley 14022-4


Manley guarantees tight tolerances where wrist pin and big end bores are honed to plus or minus .0002 in. tolerance and the wrist pins get a bronze alloy bushing for superior fatigue resistance.

Manley Performance hit a home run for us when they built us an I-Beam designed rod in 2005, and they came thru with another knock out performer! The H-beam rod is a tried and true design that has been around since the late 1960's. This design uses the basics of physics to distribute the pushing and pulling forces experienced by a connecting rod across a wide torsion area. This increases life against fatigue and keeps rod twist near the base to a minimum, which can be quite harsh in a turbocharged application like the 4G63!

- Fully Heat Treated End to End; Shot Peened Stress Relieved and Magnafluxed
- Manufactured from Solid Chrome Moly Steel 4340
- Weight Matched in set of plus or minus 1.5 grams
- Rated for 600 horsepower at 8000 rpms
- 3/8"" ARP 2000 Rod Bolts are used in all Manley H-Beam Rods for the Mitsubishi 4G63.

im looking to max out or get pretty damn close to maxing out the SC6152SP(680hp rating) w/ the anti-surge cover...daily driven...what rods are good for that ?
