I cant open the drivers side door from the OUTSIDE, but I can lock and unlock it from the OUTSIDE. I can unlock and open it from the INSIDE. I checked, all the rods seem to be intact and working properly. When I open the door from the OUTSIDE, I see a rod with an oval end, pushing down on what i assume is the lock actuator. The issue is that the rod wont push the lock actuator down, it wont budge. I sprayed WD-40 in there, I put a screw in like suggested in other posts, and it still wont move. I also cant seem to find a picture online of what Im talking about, but if someone needs it, I can post some pics of what Im talking about.

Passenger side door works fine. I feel the something grabbing something when i pull the passenger side handle. I feel nothing pulling or pushing on the driver side door, it feels like its not connected to anything, but...it LOOKS like its connected..

Any thoughts?

Try taking the linkages (rods) out and testing/moving/actuating each component individually. Also compare the setup to the other door to make sure everything is connected how it needs to be, in case someone miss-connected things in the past.

I had the same problem its easy to remove whole lock actuator, 2 bolts at the top for window track one at the bottom and 3 allen bolts on the side of the door when you open it.
