broken clutch?

hey all i need to make sure thats its my clutch that broke before i go out and buy one. One night after like 7 passes at the strip im driving home and i hear a couple loud poping/banging sounds from under the hood and right after that i cant get the car to shift gears at all...i couldnt get it out of neutral so i had to pull over. I pull over and i eventually slam it into gear. So im sitting there trying to figure out what happened and this is what i found out. Clutch pedal has next to no pressure and when i get it in gear it makes this horrid sound like change rattling around but only when i get it in gear with the clutch pedal depressed it dosnt do it in neutral or when the clutch is engaged. Also after i push the clutch in shift into gear, now it makes the crappy spare change sounds, when i let the clutch out like to start moving from a stop and stuff its not smooth at all it makes a loud banging sounds and jerks really bad till i get the clutch all the way engaged then it all seems fine untill i have to shift again cause its sorta notchy but not as bad as if i was going from a stop, reverse seems the worst itll grind like crazy. Ive been told i broke a spring off the disk but i dotn really know, can i get some opinions??? O and i havnt been driving the car like that i parked it as soon i got home. And one last thing, my master cylinder has been leaking into the car for a while but it only needs refiled once every few weeks and ive never let it go dry and it was full when this happened and its still full, think that might have caused this or just that my car is modded and i broke the clutch? What does it sound like to you all? a broken clutch?? or something else?

sounds to me like u need new clutch pressure plate and throw out bearing.
