Idle doesn't sound too bad, I can't wait until I get my motor in and started.

Not to hijack this thread but what would you guys recommend putting into a 2.3l motor? I've heard that the 272 might be a little small. I would be using the the car for 90 percent street use.

Thanks,
Krummel21

Well shit I see that ImportEvolution is sold out, SBR is sold out..... a 3 month wait? Dammit to hell I'm never going to get my head finished.

Those using the BC 280 cams.
Did you end up degreeing them at all.
My car seems to have lost a 1000 rpms of spool up with them.
They make great power up top but lost alot down low.
I think they are way off when at 0 degrees.

No slow spool for me either. I'm seeing 42lbs/min on 16psi on a 2.4L, 60trim and being SUPER rich. Just getting some break in miles till i rag on it

im only seeing 42lbs/min on 23psi, 20*, 11.5afr. idk what the problem is. 280s, scm 6152sp

Thats nice with that low of boost. I can't wait till I get a new crank and my spun bearing fixed. Then hopefully can afford to pick a set of these up.

For sure, if its going to be a 3 month wait, i'm cancling my order and going with some FP3's

Unfortunately that is the time frame BC has been giving everyone. April/May is what is displayed on their website. We will be contacting everyone waiting as soon as we get our hands on some, but in the meantime what other brands would you guys consider? I will do my best to get you some killer pricing!

I'd like some comp 101300/101400's or some really effin cheap HKS' I cant afford no 600 bucks for cams :(

Unless someone would graciously sell me their BC's :) I wish... :(

my buddy who got me my BC 280's told me i was one of the last guys to get them. and i only paid $270 for them. LOL.

I got the last set of BC's they had at BC... I got mine before there was any talk about them being out... after I put them in several friends wanted them and I started ordering... Brian had to 'dig' through all his inventory and called me the next day and said it was his last set... This was after everyone said they were out. haha!
Just a FYI, BC seems to give great service. The cams just flat out rock! If it wasn't for Martin at VIP garage I dont think I would have got this last set.

but i like the idle of the BC's!!!!! I think I'm going to have to cancle my order with MA, and order from them again at a later point in time when I get my other project going.
