Hi,

I just received in the mail a new set of Brembo slotted rotors. On all rotors I've ever seen, which is limited to OEM rotors on various cars, there have been cooling vanes in the rotors to expel air from inside the disk. The Brembos are thinner than the stock rotors and have only the slots, no vanes. Here:

Also, is it okay that the slots do not extend all the way to the edge? Is this just how Brembo does brakes?

Thanks in advance.

those are the rear rotors and they are not vented. many cars come with non-vented rear rotors because the fronts do most of the work.

it doesn't really matter if the slots don't go all the way to the edge.
