brake up after 3500RPM.in boost only

well i got this auto 1ga going with mostly extra parts. it idles fine 800rpm it will rev fine sitting still..it will boost to 7psi in 1st 2nd to 5500 then in 3rd brake up right at 3500.
i did a boost leak test and its good. compression is 165 across the cly. leak downtest was good....

but here is were its differant...the car has a tial 38 wastegate on the 02 housing and is running a 14b turbo....but stock injectors390cc....
would the 14b even at 7psi flow to much for the injectors?
. i have the timming set at 5btdc. i did ground the line on the fire wall and set it off of the cam gears....

also it dont feel like fuelcut...its more like a spark problem..because after this happends in 3rd the car mis-fires for a few seconds..then runs good again...

it dont have the ngk bpr6es plugs in it....i cant find them at any of the parts stores around here...
so any ideas that would come to mind would be great...thanks for the time

Sounds like a spark problem to me, also. Usually, its the spark plug wires. They break down inside very quickly. I change mine once a year. Autozone carries the NGK spark plugs. I bet if you change the plugs and wires your problem will go away. Good luck.

yea autozone don't have the copper ones that i need......wires are fairly new..but they could be bad....its strange...just in 3rd and up... and only pass 3500 rpm......in WOT. half throttle it don't do it.. also the plugs seam to be a lil white in color...mebe its running lean....but untill i find out what the problem is iam gonna stay out of boost....

i had the same issue and ended up been the wires and spark plugs.... i got the cheap sparks and wires from autozone.... hopefully it helps

iam gonna get some new plugs and wires...soon...but whats got meis that it only dose this under load....will a coil pack brake up under load. and not sitting still?

also do u guys think a 14b @ 7psi would be to much CFM for the 390cc injectors?
i wish i could check the IDC...but its a extra parts car build....i put this car together with all extras that i just had laying around....

well... i wonder if i should send a thank you email to extreme psi.....because there ss oilfeed for the turbo was not feeding oil... and it pretty much it locked the turbo up.....i cant even blow air through the line it must be pinched or somthing got in there from the factory....and i know for a fact that it was nothing from the motor cause its brand new..and i clean my blocks and heads throughly before assembly...
oh well there went a brand new 14b....
anybody got a 16 or 14 b for sale in the baltimore area?

i cant believe that it made any boost at all....cause i cant move the wheels buy hand.

but i guess i cant blame EXTREME cause they don't inspect any of the stuff they sell....but the oil line will be returned. and if i don't get a refund of 35$ i'll never buy from them ever again.
