BOV question

i have an SSAutochrome FMIC and a Greddy S BOV. The kit from SS was flanged for a 1g bov and the guy i bought the car from drilled and made the Greddy S fit on it. I've read this is an ok way to run my GReddy S and still use the pipe from the FMIC kit. HOWEVER i did a boost leak test yesterday and im SPEWING air from around the gasket on the BOV. So what do i do? it already has to extra holes drilled through it. Will a 1g BOV seal if i get a good gasket or should i try and use some RTV?

try starting with some rtv just to hold it up for now, then work on getting something else

Agree with above statment. Had the same thing happen with my frineds car when he bought a used type-s. Threw on some rtv and it was smooth sailin from there

For a little more piece of mind, you could grab a flange off ebay and have it welded on for cheap. (It was $30 to have my TiAL flange welded on.
