I just bought my car two weeks ago. As far as the BOV goes, it is not circulated, and I'm planning on doing that soon. My question, could a non-circulated bov cause the check engine light to come on?

I don't remember the code numbers, but it said it could either be fuel pressure or sporadic electrical problem.

Also, if that car does not have a MAF-T ( MAF Translator ) to compensate for the uncirculated air, or other A/F controller (DSMLink or S-AFC), your A/F ratio won't be right and the car won't perform as good as it would if it were recirculated, and/or if it did have a fuel management system on it.
