bov question

i have a blitz blow off valve but im not puttin it on till saturday but a friend of mine is telling me to let it go to the atomospere...he said all u got to do is block the rescuritaion hose and it wont screw up the air full mixture or anything...let me kno ### u guys think

don't mean to flame you, but this is a very big no-no.
venting does nothing to help you, your car, or your gas mileage.
all it does is help the ricer in you.
