bov probs on a 96 gst

Ok i have a 96 eclipse spyder gst and i recently jus put on a dejon intake pipe and my bov is running open as in not recirculating and now when i let off the gas the car idles horribley and dies most of the time, can some one help me with this? and it is a stock bov

Just search for bov and read. It's been posted millions of times. BOV needs to be recirculated.

yes i know this, trust me i know what im doing with this bud, it was recirculated and was doing the same thing, i have searched this, and nothing what mine is doing but thanks anyways

nothing T'd off the bov vac line right? boost leak test?

no sir nothing t'd off, and i have not done a boost leak test yet, i'm going to do that ###### tommorrow morning, hell it might be that

And the bov vac line goes to the intake manifold right? factory location?

yeah trust me i made sure all vacuums were where theyre supposed to be, and it shouldnt have a leak but who knows till i do it in the morning

Did you make sure that the MAF is plugged in right?

yeah i sure did, when i was running my stock intake it was running just fine, no leaks or anything, then i put this dejon intake pipe on and its jus horrible bout to go back to the stock and get an ebay intake pip cause ive seen them and they honestly look better made and fitament than this one, its crazy

Post a picture of your engine bay maybe we can find something thats out of place
