i bought a gm maf and translator for a 91 eclipse some time ago. that car blew up and i bought a 96 gst so i was goin to put the maft on it. its version 2.02 so i dont think its too old. obviously the harness was correct except one plug for the original maf plug. ive already spliced the right wires together, hooked it up. started my car, idles normal. ive been reading and some say that u can leave the rpm wire off and some say that u have to connect it. now heres my problems.

1: i cant find the CAS to splice the wire(the smaller black one i beleive)
2: when the boost starts to hit, my car bogs really bad. if im not moving, i have no problems revving up, but if im driving, as soon as the boost hits it just bogs.

i had some issues with the clamps poping off but most of that is taken care of. no leaks that i can hear feel or anything, i know thats not accurate but its the best i can du for right now. all the clamps and pipes are very secure. to b such an easy mod, im gettin frustrated ### its giving me problems. another thing, they say that if ure running close to stock setup, leave all the switches on 0. what about those 4 little switches on the left(not the knobs), do they have to be set to anything or do i leave all of those alone too. i havent adjusted anything on it yet. please help me out, this is driving me nuts!!

You can leave the RPM wire off?? I never heard that one.

The 4 little switches set up the whole dealio, you need the manual to figure out what to do for your setup.

http://www.fullthrottletech.com/showthread.php?t=894 you can download the manual here. It has the settings for the 4 little switches you are talking about.

ok , found the cas, now the only problem is that it boosts very eratically. i set my profec b to a gain of 5 and the setting to 0. yet im still boosting almost 15, 14.7 to b exact! one thing i did notice, can anyone tell me what line is coming off of my airintake. there is two hoses that come of the airhose going to the turbo. on goes to the top of the head, where does the other one go? man i need to get this fixed(almost as bad as everyone else, haha) please help me sort through this. if u wanna go step by step cheking stuff i will, ### im out of options :(

The line goin to the valve cover is the valve cover vent. This is the line you tap into for a catch can. The other one is for the charcoal canister. Which has something to do with unburned fuel or pressure release in the gas tank I can't remember exactly.
