keep in mind my car is BONE STOCK:
i just got a greddy BOV and intake tubing kit. The kit came with all the right stuff except that the BOV only came with the fitting to blow off into the atmosphere.....Although the BOV sounded great, no matter how I adjusted the BOV the car would stall once you let off the gas. My dad is a plumber and i found a brass pipe that threaded into the BOV so i could recirculate it. Although it is VERY RIGGED it seems to work. The car was stalling at first, but now she does not. But now I am still having trouble adjusting the BOV. It does not sound like it used to, it much qiueter. now that you know the situation, i have a few questions.
-What is better, blwoing off into the atmostphere or recirculating?
-Is there a way that I can blow off into the atmosphere and not have it stall.....any tips?
-What is the proper way to cap off the "recirculating" line?
-on the BOV there is harder and softer settings. What do these do? and where do I want to be on these settings?
any help or tips would be greatly appreciated.....thank you!
