Hey, if its working then it works right? If I understand correctly all you would have to do is buy a mini coupler from menards or someplace and put 2 clamps on it to replace that duct tape and you'd be set.

id be interested to see this. post up some pics if you can

Do you mean "recirculating" pipe, or "relocating" pipe? If it's recirculating (routed back to the intake) you are saying you used a clamp on one end, and duct tape on the other end? If that's the case, spend the money and either get 2 more clamps and some type of coupler to secure onto the pipe and whatever end you want. (BOV or intake), You could have just got some rubber hose and clamp it on each side if money was that big of an issue.

i will post pic later
i went to all the part stores and hardware stores and couldnt find anything that could fit

went to a racer store and ordered a new BOV tip that is straight
so jst need to wait till the part comes in

i actually just did this to my hard pipe (custom from ebay parts LOL) and the greddy type rs. i kept the horn on it tho as i dont have the straight plug. to recirculate i went to lowes and got an inch and a half diameter vacuum hose. it was $3.50 for a foot (only needed half that) and it looks nice in the engine bay. cannot get pics but its a flexible hose and works perfect. check it out in the plumbing section.

As long as it doesn't really leak you should be ok. There isn't any presure inside of the recir pipe, so it just has to withstand the normal vibrations and movement from everyday driving.

Well its definetly better from what he had. He was running a mini breather filter of some sort attached to the intace pipe and was venting without a gm maf LOL. we set him straight LOL.

Amazing, $20 that car needs a t-belt job or some other maintenance. But hey he got a cool BOV he doesn't even need.

Whoops, sorry I spurred a hate-fest. Seriously though, how do you even know it's secure? Even though it doesn't see pressure, it doesn't mean that it's not a leak that is letting unmetered air out. I would recommend a simple worm clamp to tighten things up.

I personaly prefer electrical tape myself. They have the right worm clamps at Lowes or Homedepot.

Where'd you get that hose?
