LOL

As the saying go's

If you cant duck it F*** it....

BTW i dont think thats duck tape. Maybe duct tape.

If you want ill send you a dollar for a clamp.

god it's shit like that, that makes me paranoid when I buy a used car.

dude that is $20 role of pipe tape
LOL

and when i say glue
it was sum shit called instant nails
LOL

that shit aint moving at all
LOL

Hey man,
I understand you're new to the site and probably haven't read the rules yet, so let me explain. Here on dsmtuners we try to be as technically correct and maintain a certain level of established integrity. That being said, slang type and constant LOL's with poor sentence structure isn't going to cut it here. From the multiple threads I've seen you post, you need some sound technical advice. My suggestion is to shape up your posting skills and then you'll be on the road to good times.

Oh, liquid nails, glue, and duct tape DO NOT belong on a car.

Maybe its not the china after market putting Greddy out of business. I think Lowes and Home depot are to blame. LOL I hate it for the person who has to remove that BOV. I think if you use duct tape and liquid nails to work on a car you should own a honda.

If possible, take that BOV off, and reseal with some silicon.

fine fine
sorry for the slang every one
but that is just how i talk in real life

any ways
i dont think removing the blow off valve is a possability at the moment
and i would need to buy a new flang
and the pipe where i connected the BOV
it had to be
how would you say
customized

aka cut a lil
well it was broken so i improvised

well the flange or whatever its called isnt in the hole it should be in
its over it o.0
so that when the glue came into the picture

you know it really hurts when you try to see if your BOV is working and it shoots up and hits you in the forhead :(

o every one yelling at me about the tape
ill fix it whn the part that i need comes in
it will be held with clamps -_-

Wow. I think there ought to be a training program for DSM's and at the end, you earn your turbo. Or wings. Which ever way you look at it.

Yeah, I just hope that the excess glue didn't drip down the inside of the flange only to be blown loose from the oily IC piping and into your cylinders and the turbine to do whatever damage it wants to. :toobad:

You'll soon learn that there is a fast way, and a right way do do things. Your way (the fast way) will lead to a car that's so unreliable it's worthless. Take your time. Get yourself a good set of drill bits and taps to make bolt holes line up. You'll use them plenty.

Also, if your flange didn't line up correctly, you should have bought a different flange. They're $15 or something like that on Ebay. It looks much cleaner. Blue RTV works perfectly fine. That's what I've used for a year and I haven't had a leak around the flange yet. A little goes a long way. :thumb:

Duct tape may seem like a great thing (and it is) but it's not good for anything that has to hold pressure or vacuum, or anything around high-temps. Your tape job sees all three. When you go to peel that tape off, you'll probably have a nice mess of tape residue. Where did the clamps from the original recirc tube go? There were 2 on that which should have worked fine.

Nah just unhook the wastegate actuator arm. LOL

well im gonna order a aluminum upper intercooler pipe and weld a Greddy flange and just but on my BOV

the old clamp cant fit
the BOV tip is like a curve
u know like a trumpet
its all ###
but i just ordered a straight piece so it will be on properly as soon as that comes in

but if you are also reading my other threads
you will know that i have other problems and this BOV set up is second to be fixed

chico knows
LOL

You know how to weld alum? It can be a pain unless you have the proper welder set-up.

it cums welded

For pete's sake type normal already! trust me, I grew up talking a sh!tload of slang, but quickly realized it doesn't get very far (I'm only 23 btw).

Anyway, that trumpet you speak of is for venting your BOV. You should look up the vendor and see if you can get a recirculating kit (regular flange so you can bolt it down).

man i can speak 4 languages (im only 18 by the wya)i just like slang
i can speak proper english if i want

and i ordered all that already
you really got to read every thing i say

It's kind of hard to read or understand everything your saying. Either way, for sure you need to get that thing fixed asap. That adds a whole new meaning to "home depot" repairs. I second the recirculating kit, you can still hear the BOV fine, which is why you bought it anyways, right?

THEN DO IT. Hell, we don't care if you can speak 'em all, it's damn annoying when someone can't even post in a clear and concise manner. Not to mention, you have a beautiful TSi and you don't respect it. :beatentodeath:
