Well I gave several in mind all but I think I'm going to go with a 60-1.


Sounds like you need to do more research..

Couple things:

1. You said you wanted a 400whp pump gas turbo, and you chose a 60-1 which is more of a race gas turbo and NOT meant for low boost such as 22psi....400whp at ~22psi on 93 octane, you want a GT35r buddy

2. The sound of higher HP cars in the videos - Tial 50mm

I also said that I had several in mind which means I can change my mind, and the 60-1 will make close to 400whp on pump gas at the boost level that I'm wanting. Wether it was intended to or not. I'm also considering the pte 56trim I haven't decided yet. So its a toss up between those to turbos.
 
ok i loosened the screw on the back of my ssqv and it only flutters slightly at low boost now and it has a louder, proper blow off at full throttle. I remembered that when the FMIC was off the car i messed with the screw so i had to re-set it out a few turns for the valve to be able to relieve all the pressure in one release instead of the valve only being able to move a little and blow off a few times sequentially.

To the OP:
The HKS sqv will flutter at low rpms/boost and partial throttle blow offs and will have a loud crisp blow off at full throttle/ higher boost.

Same with mine, however I did not need to adjust anything out of the box. Also, my 1G bov also fluttered a tiny bit at low throttle when letting off the gas. It leaked any higher than 22 psi on a T28. Bolting on the SSQV and I gained 2 psi at the same settings with my 50 trim.

Btw, I'm auto and can actually get away with venting since my throttle plate is always open on acceleration. :cool: No ill effects at all for me.
