1G Bouncing Idle??

Cant figure out why my 1g idle is bouncing crazy. It didnt used to do this.. i did take off the blocker plate for the FIAV. Could that have anything to do with it. It used to sit at around 700 to 850rpm.. Now its up to about 1,100 and bounces to like 1,400.. up , down , up , down , up , down .. and which way do you turn the BISS screw to lower the idle?? THANKS FOR ANY HELP !!

Did you block the FIAV or remove the blocking plate? If you removed it, that's why you have a high, surging idle. Block it properly or reinstall a FIAV.

To lower idle speed you screw the BISS in, out to raise idle. You also need to look at proper idle adjustment procedure, or the IAC will try to adjust while you're setting the BISS screw.

yea, its a bit confusing... did you remove the fiav blockoff and leave it off? replace with a fiav?

sounds like you created an intake leak...
