bought motor, cam gears removed, out of time?

I just bought a new motor since i blew mine, just to throw in and play with while i finish building up my race motor, but forcedperformance did the swap for the guy that i got the motor from, and they took the cam gears off the cams when they pulled the engine. I was wondering if one of the cams could have rolled or something like that, b/c i knew that you had to be careful about it when changing the timing belt, so am i going to need to redo the timing? i figure i will, but just checking first, prolly wouldnt hurt to check it anyways even if i dont. Your post is a bit confusing.
If the cam gears were taken off, it means the belt was taken off. Which means you are going to have to the timing belt anyway. So unless they screwed up, it should be in time. Line up the crank pulley and check the cam timing marks if you are worried about it.

Perhaps using correct grammar and sentence structure might help. Your paragraph of a post seems to be to made up of two very long sentences.

If I were doing something like the timing belt, I wouldn't assume the timing is correct if the cams are out. Take a while and just look everything over.

If you're not 100% sure it's timed correctly, just redo it yourself.. it's not really a thing you want to gamble on.

If they don't take off the cam sprockets, they often get bent or broken in shipping. Check your timing marks, only the crank and cams matter until assembled. The dowels on the cams need to be straight up.
