boost trouble

My turbo wont boost past 9 pounds, and it runs like crap at idle
I need help what could be my problem?
93 tsi awd
mods: hard intercooler piping, full exhaust, stock turbo

Have you checked for boost leaks? Or any bad vacum hoses? Did you have these problems before you installed your intercooler pipes? Sorry, but you're not giving us a lot to work with here.

yea man i am having the same problems, just installed my FMIC and the hard piping and now my shit is all f'ed up i am making about 6 lbs and then it doesn't pull at all ! i know that i need an external setup probably but it's gotta be a boost leak man just like mine outer wise i think my B16g is all cunfuzzled too !!

yup, sounds like a boost leak or vacuum leak..........check all your fitting, hoses and clamps............hotwheels of turborides
