2G Boost sputter

Car starts, and drives well, but after it reaches 4k rpm and over it sputters really bad and jerks the car.

I've noticed if I ease my foot into the gas pedal it will go all the way to redline no problem no sputter what so ever, but if I get on it from the get go, that's when it sputters really bad and it won't boost any further. Well I'm sure it will keep boosting, but it jerks the car so bad, so I let go of the gas.

I'm running a 16g everything else is stock, it was having this same issue with the stock turbo, both turbos have/had no shaft play, I've done a boost leak test and everything is good there, an other suggestions?

Run another boost leak test and fix all boost/vaccume/exhaust leaks. That would probably solve the issue.

Having a similar issue, turbo is spinning but not making boost. Drove home from 1 hour drive and turbo was fine giving me 17 psi. Started it this morning to go to work and no boost. I inspected the turbo, no oil seepage and spins freely. Stock everything, ECM link v3 850cc FIC and full exhaust. I can hear turbo start to spool and then I hear weird bearing wobble noise.

So my problem ended up being my wastegate, it wasn't accuating, It was hitting on my OEM fan, I ended up getting a slim fan and replacing my wastegate also.

My turbo on the hot side is damaged and after 3k rpm wobbles and sounds dry. Ordered a replacement from eBay, rev9 20g . I know it's fake cheap taiwanese crap but it ought to do the job until I get the fp68hta or fpblack
