Boost problems... the never ending saga

Hey,

*18 Vac at idle and about 21 when im cruzing*

The problem is my car dosent want to boost past 6PSI above 3500 Rpm,
when I step on the gas my boost increases then comes to a dead
stop when it gets to 6PSI.



Im thinking it could be:

-Waste Gate Acut. lose
-Vacume leak
-Flapper Stuck open


Any other things i should check for or any other input you can give me?

maybe your turbo's on it's way out?

It could easily be your wastegate port degrading. At 155K, mine looked like someone took an acetylene torch to it. The exhaust is a tough environment.

Im gunna check for shaft play in the turbo... but im leaning more towards there
being a leak in the vacume lines somwhere or the waste gate acut. arm is lose.
