4g63 TURBO SAGA!

Ok...this is just some random info abt 4g63 engines and lattest RUMORS
My cousin from Germany bought last week a 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander 4wd TURBO!
I did some research and found out that they put in the Outlader in Germany THE EVO 8 ENGINE!!!!
It doesn't have a FMIC, like the EVO 8 does and it makes only 199HP.
I also heard that Mitsubishi Motors US wants to add the 4g63T as a optional engine for the US made Outlander.(Rumors!dunno if it's for real!)
Anyway the 2.4L is wayyyy ovverrated on the U.S made Outlander, and a EVO 8 engine in a AWD SUV at half price sounds AWESOME TO ME!
My cousin got his for 10k euro...witch is like ~$12k US , and he sais it's got a better suspension , steering and acc respone then his wife Mercedes ML430

Yeah but consider that buying a car overseas is gonna cost you 6-7 dollars a gallon for the good gas the 4g63 needs.

I recently went to Ireland for work and saw some interesting cars. I will see if i can get the pix up. One of which was a brand new Mitsu truck we dont have over here. It was awesome.

Used cars over there sell for cheap IMO. The autotrader mag has evo's, sti's, skylines, you name it.

Yeah I know....they got a Mitsu factory in Germany .
They make the Mitsu Colt ( aka used to be Dodge, PLy Colt in US) ...1.5 Turbo engine and 150 hp..and like 50mpg
I had a 95 Opel Calibra AWD 2.0Turbo with 300hp stock ...my 1st ever Turbo car...you can buy one for 6k and will keep up with an EVO or STI, and they look MEANER then a EVO ..I will post some pics. I got it garaged..
Opel is GM made...GM never used that 2.0 Engine is U.S!!!
Another example..
Mitsubishi Pajero( aka. Montero in US) has 4 different Turbo Diesel base engine is Europe...0 in U.S!
Mitsubishi Galant has 2 different turbo engines available..a 1.8T and the 2.0 4g63.
Elder Mitsu Starion used 2.0T 4g63 engines(170hp)..and you can pick one up for less then 1K!!!
The 4g63 was introduced in US in 89 I think? They were in Europe introduced in early 80's

I wish it didnt take so much money to bring over an overseas car.
