ok so the haynes manual says the wastegate solenoid, i saw a thread that said boost control solenoid. so is it the same thing? there is a vacuum line going to the air can right by the mas, then the other lines t's off of the line going from the nipple on the turbo outlet to the wastegate. is that how its suppose to be? i was talking to someone about it and they said it shouldnt be like that. i have stock ecu nothing to tune my fuel with and my car is running 14 psi. i think its a little to high for the stock set up. i just want to turn down my boost to like 10-12 just to be safe for now. how can i turn down my boost? i was told with a mbc you cant turn boost down past the stock setting. and my car is running 14 without a boost controler.
here is a picture i put paper under it just to see it better.

It's the same thing :) I would just plain eliminate that dumb thing. Chances are it hasn't worked for years anyway. As for your boost, run a direct boost/vacuum line to your wastegate, that is the minimum amount of your boost your wastegate will allow.

all ready done :D i took the vacuum line straight from the nipple on the jpipe to the wastegate, i didnt know what to do since i didnt have vacuum caps or any screws to stuff in the lines so i just t'ed the lined from the air can and had a T going to the line that should tap into the nipple/wastegate line, so its just a big circle :D if you understand what im talking about, but ill post pics soon

Yes, post pics. It doesn't sound like you have it right.

The one that goes to the intake is the one I am worried about. Maybe I'm not reading your post right.

You can unplug that line going to your intake and just cap it off. Unplug the BCS and remove it completely. The Vac line going from j-pipe directly to the wastegate is correct fo what you want to accomplish - less boost. Should be about 10psi.

yea i wasnt sure if it would do anythign bad or mess up somethign if i just unplugged it. and i didnt have any caps thats why i just made them run into eachother
