Bolt hole timing side

So I am currently putting my timing cover back on my engine after a head up rebuild and I cant figure out what this large bolt hole is under the cams by the 95 cas

Here is a pic. Its not mine but you can see the hole bottom left of the cas

out of all the DSM's i've worked on i've never seen that hole with a bolt in it. perhaps something bolted up to the head when in a hyundai seeing as they used the motor for awhile too.
