I have a 97 gst and I just installed an eprom ecu from a 95 gst. Prior to swapping my ecu my car ran completely fine but now at low rpms when I press the gas my car just boggs. I have a chip thats programmed specifically for these injectors and I thought that may have been the case. But even using the stock untouched image on this ecu my car still boggs. Does anyone know what this may be?

Did you swap the plug wires?
What cas are you using?
Have you checked for boost leaks?
What are your AFRs?
Are you currently running the stock image using larger injectors?
Did you inspect the ecu board for damge, leaky caps, etc?

When using a 95 eprom ecu, you need to swap spark plug wires, #1 with #2 and #4 with #3. In addition, the CAS signal is inverted which fires the injectors incorrectly. ECMlink has a built-in feature that corrects this issue for 97-99 DSMs.

I did swap the wires but I dont have dsmlink. Im just using an eprom chip burner and tuner pro to tune. Afrs look good im only having the issue at low rpms. I checked the board and it doesnt look like theres any damage and again stock ecu works fine but then I cant tune for my injectors.

I understood you the first time I dont have dsmlink. Im looking for another solution.

That is fantastic!

So, as a mind reader, I will assume that are looking to swap your injector wires as your solution?
