I have a 2g dsm and I just finished rebuilding it, but everytime I connect the negative and positive connections to the battery it sparks a really bright blue arc. How do I fix this? It’s been puzzling me for weeks I’ve checked every fuse and I’ve checked the wires to make sure they aren’t hitting another live ground wire. N nothing anybody shed some light on this?

It also isn’t sending any power to the car what so ever. No lights come on n it doesn’t turn over

First, are you sure that you are connecting the battery the right direction? positive on positive and negative on the negative for example, second have you ever connected the battery backwards? if you did, even for a second you will have blown fuses and possible other damage.

Yea nah I made sure, I actually figured it out, I’m pretty sure the starter is the problem, I had to order a new one I unhooked it and it stopped sparking now everything is working again
