Just found out my battery was dead, so I was going to take it in to get it charged. When I was taking it out, I found the nut on the positive terminal is totally stripped, and somewhat corroded on there.

Any advice on how I can get it off without damaging anything else?

Thanks for your help in advance :)

Try vicegrips or just take off that nut that holds the hanger with the fuses off. Then you'd have to get a new terminal.

id agree with what they are saying..happend to me
and then i just replaced everything and im now using brass terminals

Agreed, a couple of vicegrips will probably do it best. Mine was all screwed up on the other side too, so the bolt just spun whenever I tried loosening it.. had to jam a flat-head screwdriver in against the other side, loosened it, then replaced the terminal.

Also, if you have a cheapass battery, make sure you don't tighten the tiedown too far... mine managed to crack the plastic, and is now leaking acid and corroding the hell out of things.
