i need a step by step guide on how to do a BLT...i have to do it my self and know nothing about it as this is my first turbo car...

BLT - Boost Leak Test (about as essential as bacon lettuce and tomatoes for the DSMer)

Use the IC pipe tester, get an air compressor, and pressurize the system. Spray some soapy water around all connections (couplers, TB, manifold, BOV) and look/listen for leaks.

Also keep an eye on your boost gauge and make sure the pressure doesn't exceed 25psi (on a stock motor). You are shooting for ~5psi higher than what you run daily. However, if this is your first time doing a BLT, you'll come nowhere close. :D

A good system will hold 20psi and slowly lose pressure down to 0 over 15-30 seconds.
