Im doing a boost leak test, andwhile the system is pressurized, air is blowing through a little purge hole in my Manual boost controller.

Is this normal and should I ignore it while I continue to search for boost leaks? Or is there a procedure to tie off the MBC to have a more pressurized system during testing?

Help quick please! Losing daylight :(

The intake manifold or the one coming off the valve cover?
If you are talking about the one coming off the intake manifold it should be connected to your BOV.
The one that is coming off of the valve cover that goes to the intake pipe it should not be plugged you can leave it just hanging there. There are 2 more lines that go to the intake pipe one is a boost reference for your stock solenoid boost controller it does not need to be capped either. The last one goes to the purge valve under the battery I believe. You can leave that one unplugged as well.

Yes your MBC will leak they are designed to do that. You must cap it. Just unplug the vac line coming off your boost source (most likely your J-pipe?) then plug it with a screwdriver or something so no air leaks out if it.
