This is apparently what $850 looks like:

You know the story, driving car, suddenly you have no clutch pedal pressure and the car won't shift.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what might have caused this failure? I'd like to ensure that I don't have to drop the transmission again until it's time to replace my clutch.

It was SUPPOSED to be an OEM mitsu one, but I don't think that's the case.

Miles should be pretty low, I had the bearing replaced along with the clutch fork and pivot ball when I last had my clutch done. That was a few years ago, but I had the car sitting for a few years since I had what turned out to be a blown turbo and a bunch of maintenance stuff to do.

No, car ran fine, Just couldn't get it in to gear when it was running, and there was no clutch pressure.
Hmm that's fine because my car does the same extact thing but he wants to stall as well.
Time for a new what?

Well I'm pretty sure you figured that you already need a new throw out bearing.
