Blown engine?

Today i noticed that if i block the valve cover outlets (i dont have a one way valve on the one which goes into the intake manifold, its open) some air builds up in 30/40 seconds. i have both vented to atmosphere/open.

I also changed my plugs and had a look inside to see piston, 2/3 were on top and it seems to me that they were a bit shiny (like they have a layer of oil or something) but there was no sign of oil on my plugs and car ran ok as well.

Is it normal?

so your plugs aren't wet or soaked in any type of fluid...!!!

First were going to need more info than that, such as running conditions, idle...rev..so on and so forth.
What made you do this in the first place?

it was a normal procedure, i wanted to change my plugs and therefore had a deep look in it.

car idles fine just a few misfire but rest is ok, vaccum is 19/20hg as well and boost is good. when taken out plugs were perfect not soaked at all

I'm running 24psi on a holset hx35 7blade billet wheel with 12cm2 housing. my car dosent blow off the dip stick neither reduces oil nor any sign of smoke on idle/drive/boost what so ever.

Let me know if having the air trapped in the tappet cover is normal?
