blew my first turbo !!! :*( TEAR

ok ive been trying to figure out the reason for my terrible boost , it wasnt a boost leak and my wastegate was working fine but turbo wouldnt boost past 6PSI......so i decide to check for shaft play.....i think this thing is toast there's up and down and major back and forth shaft play this was a 14B, where do i go from here? another 14B or should i get a 16G right away? do i need anything besides a fuel pump rewire to run a 16G? i have that and 2.5 exaust already done btw

Get a 16g instead of a 14b. You dont need to run a rewire if your not changing your injectors or running more than 15 psi of boost.

Id say 16G too, that little bit more can help. Sorry to hear of the loss, any carnage pics yet? Sorry for the lost, but one of the ways I keep working on this car is the mentality of "well since its broke might as well upgrade at the same time."

get a 16g.

13-14 psi on a rewired pump, 15 psi on a 190/255 pump, 16+ on injectors/SAFC

Sorry to hear about the loss, never good to break things. But at least now you've got a good reason to upgrade
