Long story short I did a BSE, Timing belt, and head gasket. Car wouldn't start tested a few things and turns put the power transistor was bad (my connector for the coil pack had high resistance too 1.2 when it supposed to be like .7-.86 or somthing like that), purchased a new PTU from advanced auto and the car started right up. I turned it off after about 4 mins to take it off the jack stands because it was shaking a lot. Started it again and it ran for 30 secs and it just shut off, then it was back to just cranking. Checked and the power transistor was bad again. I bought ANOTHER one from advanced and I don't want it to go bad because they are $115 a piece... Also on a side note, my tach stopped working on the third PTU...not sure if it's related.
Update: I tried the new one and let it run for an hour, everything was fine. Tried to start it again, nothing, dead again.
What could be causing this?
On the good side I found that the ones from advanced have a 5yr warranty.
