Ok guys I haven't found too much on this topic on this site.

So I currently have a 6 bolt swap in my car with AEM EMS. I have the black top CAS. I hate how long it takes for the car to turn over. I know the hall effect's are a tad better with signal and all that. However, I have both at my house and all I need is a trigger disc for the green top to solve my cranking issue. I have already talked to triggerdisc.com about this but, I want your guys opinion with it as well. First hand experience would be even better.

Turboglenn if you read this please chime in. I read your article about 1g CAS and aftermarket EMS+ injection style. I don't know much about how to tune with the EMS. I am learning but if I can get the benefit of no 10+ cranks and some benefits that you found in your post, I am all for the green top with trigger disc.:thumb:

Sorry for the delay in posting< i've moved and just got 'net last night.

Anyway, what kinda info you looking for? You should be able to use either CAS just fine (not sure the exact issue with the PNP AEM's as i have never had enough trouble to have to mess with them in the config settings for the sensors)

but the best way to run the CAS (either black or green) is to cut the smaller (IIRC) home signal off going from 2 home signals to one home and then running in sequential.

The 2nd home will cause an aftermarket EMS to think it's fired all 4 jugs 2 times per revolution and therefore most are run in batch fire or multipoint setups.

Just let me know what you need assistance on and I'll do my best to help you out

with a trigger disc that you can install in the green top CAS it helps the EMS see the sync signal so the car starts much quicker (like 3 cranks). with the black top it takes like 10 plus cranks before it finally see's the sync and then fires.

Basically i want my car to start quicker by having the AEM see its sync signal. I havent heard of anybody with a black top CAS and EMS without having cranking issues.

You will have to switch a jumper on the adapter board. On the trigger disk website they have a breakdown of what jumper to switch, it will be in a word doc file.

I was running the Trigger disk, and it was awesome. I 100% recommend it.

Triggerdisk Install 1g Green CAS AEM EMS

That is my thread with some videos for example.

i can switch a jumper on my setup i have now? or with a green top?

I dont really want to go to the green top since my car has the black top on it and has been tuned with the black top. So is there a way that i can fix this without getting the green top?
