biss screw replacement doesnt fit

i got a 92 talon tsi awd from my uncle about 2 months ago and it had a lot of problems. ive already replaced the timing covers and pulley because they came loose and destroyed stuff. then my biss went missing so my uncle sent me one from a 91 eclipse he found in a junkyard. i tried putting it in but it wont fit. is it supposed to go in smoothly or does it require a little force? he also sent me another screw but its much shorter and has a pointed end. this is the last thing i need to do before i can actually drive the car around so im really disappointed that it didnt fit. help ###!

It should look like this (if you're not sure what it looks like). You also need to make sure you have a fresh/new o-ring on there or it will probably leak.

Yes, it should thread in easily with a screwdriver.

What is the issue? Are there threads in there? Maybe someone put some RTV in there to seal it? Maybe take some pictures to show us what you're working with?

ill try to get some pictures in the morning but the screws that my uncle sent me seems too big and as far as i can tell, theres absolutely nothing in the hole right now.

the first one is as far in as i can get the screw. the second is the screws i got from my uncle. the third is just the empty hole

Are you sure the one is a DSM BISS screw? I'm thinking the ends on them might be causing issues. Or it might be the thread pitch. I would order a new OEM one (look at link in post #2).
