I am thinking about buying this 2g gst that someone has for sale locally he says he has an big evo 3 16g on it how can I tell that apart from the 14b and the small 16g ? Thanks alot.

91TSi FWD said:Yes, you can tell the difference if you have two side by side. This turbo is on the car. The only way you can realy tell is by the wastegate hole, but if he's purchasing this car, good luck trying to get the person to take the O2 housing off.
NOSNUSE said:The exhaust housing top is diff. it is not square like the basic 14, 16, b16 turbos it is more rounded just run your hand around the under side of the exhaust manny and see if it is square or not.
