bfgoodrich gforce kdw tires?

are these tires any good traction wise?

my bro is working at the sebring international raceway (live 2 miles away from it )

so i tell him to pick me some tires up because all they do is run them around 1-2 times and toss them or if the bead get a simple nick they toss them and then he drills holes in them for a barrier

so he picked up 2 of these for me

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW 2

i also wanna know if these would be ok to run with these simple little nicks on the bead to me there not that bad but i guess the people at the track dont think so

these tires still have the tits on them

If they were free they are awesome!!! For real though, theyre ok tires. My dunlops are "twice" as sticky (treadwear 180). I would never pay 135/tire for them. If youve never driven on ultra high performance summer tires before they are like night and day.

You didnt actually read that article did you. the results are on the first page. Those hankooks were the second rated tire and the BFGs fifth.

I would say sell them and maybe upgrade the width seeing as your profile says your only running 215's

Or if you have a buddy at a tire shop throw the set of BFG's on try them out and see which ones you like more. seeing as you are in a very nice predicament you can see which ones you like more based on how you drive every day. sell the ones you dont need and buy a set of winter tires maybe

these bfgs are 215s

i have 3 other rims matching the same ones im running now i think ima just mount and balance them then throw em on the front and see how they do

Lucky dog. I would just see which ones you like more/give YOU more grip. Maybe do a quick writeup comparing the two as well

If your going to spring for a new set of nice tires you intend to race, the dunlop star specs are king, at least until someone comes out with something new.

I just recently bought those same tires, They are a lot better then the tires I was running before, traction wise, and they look freakin' mean! I just purchased a set of these (235/40/17 $140 a tire) and so far I gotta say I'm impressed with them. I don't care for the design that much buy they can handle pretty good. The thread depth is deep as hell compared to falken rt615's that I had on there, deeper than the continental extreme and deeper than the yoko s.drive's as well.

I have the V12 Evos, they are nice tires. They seem to handle pretty darn good in the cold and don't squeal.

I fit 18's on with gforce tires which has plus and minus of being thin with tight suspension road damage is felt a lot more but at the same time I can take a corner at almost fourty without loss of traction and there's still room for improvement in strut bars and some other adjustments due to the Apexi muffler I have it needs to be tucked better... but I like that too with the active silencer. 420a.

I run those on my car. I got a 1.70 60' with them, but I blame my suspension slop for not doing any better. They are a good tire with nice traction, but mark my word, they are useless in the snow. My car is AWD and with these tires in a dusting (half inch of snow or less) my car was all over the place. I was going slow up a small incline and my car was going diagonal the whole way. I wanted to have some fun in the snow, but these tires made the car so sketchy to drive I just parked it.

I had these on my g35 and they lasted about 15,000 miles a pair and I babied my g35. I bought a second set thinking it was just a freak occurrence, I was wrong. I would hardly recommend them. 1 star out of 5.

They are strictly summer tires, of course your gonna be all over the place in the snow.

OP, between my friend and I we have tested out a large sum of the performance summer tires out there and I personally like the kdw2's the best for the buck. We had these in a 255/40/17 and they were a huge improvement over a previous set of falken ziex 912's. Granted the falkens were an all season.

oh come on only 40?

there's a corner near my work, I hit that beast just over 70 before i hear my v12s squeal.

But i do know your corner maybe alot sharper than mine and plus mine is banked.
