Best wheels for my white 1ga? :)

Hey everyone,

I would like some opinions on wheels including size and offset. I want something good looking, but also well performing not to heavy if possible. I am going to black out my 1g so the pillar pod and racing seats aren't visible and I think some black wheels would look great with this. What wheels look good on our 1gs? I was thinking about some black RPF1s but I'm not sure as they are pretty expensive. I spend everything on this car though so I might just do it. Post pics bellow! I feel like it's hard to make wheels look good on our cars and I don't want to buy something I hate. I am going for a "sleeperish" look but still good looking. Only thing on the car that won't be stock is the wheels.

The best looking wheels I've seen on the 1ga's are the old enkei rf-1. But they are discontinued and impossible to find.

I always loved the way EVO BBS MR wheels look on 1gs. Harder to find than just regular EVO wheels though.

If you want cheap look into some XXRs however they are not the best quality but get the job done and look good. Otherwise keep an eye out on your local Craigslist for good deals.

Keep in mind, tire size and ride height count just as much as the look of the wheel.

These gram light 57pro's that were on my old car are probably my favorite wheels ever on a 1g. Sadly they are discontinued and mine are beyond repair. But if I could find a set i would pick them up in a heartbeat.

I would check out 5zigen fno1-rc's or like you said, enkei rpf1's. Or if money is tight you cant go wrong with a set of used evo 8 enkei's or fc rx7 wheels.

Fd rims look good on 1gs and are light. I recently found that a set in my basement look amazing on my 1g. They are msw and that's all I know about them (other than size)

Me personally I like the style of some evo 8s, rota slipstream, or of course some rpf1 for 1gs. I myself currently have 2g GST chrome wheels on and they are pretty nice but do plan on switching to one of the 3 options I listed.

I like rota slips.Im in the process of installing black jeep bullet holes on my white 1g. I love the look of a nice dished steelie!

These came on my car and there okay...there most likely from candian tire hah,(Panther rims)
I'd prefer stock rims to be honest

Oh then there's this clean 1ga
The rims are hard to see but they look clean and are similar to mine
except they are chromed and go so nice with a clean black 1g

I've seen a couple different 4g eclipse wheels on 1g's and it looks pretty good, nice bang for your buck and unique.

Enekei Rpf1s will always look good on Dsms. Get some 17x9+35 youlle have a nice, functional setup.

I'm partial to old school five spoke wheels. These are sadly out of production 17" SSR Integral A2's. Light and strong.

I always like the enkie gw8 personally. I actually cant remember the model of my other two sets but i can check them when i get home and i can get the info on them for you. Ive had 4 different sets of rims on my 95 tsi that i liked a lot
