Best place to have my block machined

Which shops have people had do their block machining and what kind of job did they do? Planning to rebuild a 6 bolt I have sitting around to drop in my colt gt Plan to have it bore and honed with a torque plate, deck surface machined, and the line bore checked.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Any competent machine shop should be able to handle the job, just search around your area.

Depending how far north you are into missouri, down here by little rock is a shop called polk performance, great work, and nice guys. Other wise, any machine shop that knows what they are doing should be able to take care of it.

All of the machine shops around here have experience in smallblocks and the like, not anything like we run in our cars. Most shops do not have access to a torque plate for a 4g63 either. I just don't want to spend 1500 on parts and have the block half assed machined by some redneck shop like I have in my area

go to jacksonautomachine.com they do really good work and have built the strongest eclipse blocks out there like brad brooks and shepard
