Best exhaust to make my 1g scream

Just like the title says i want my evo III 90 gsx to just sound mean as hell! I want that deep idle and cruise tone that our dsm's have but at open throttle i just want it to absolutely scream and sound mean as hell and let everyone know im coming

I know one thing that would help would be the o2 dump tube.. how does a 3" turbo back with no cats or resonator sound?

An exhaust cutout would be a good choice so you'd have the ability to quite her down when needed.

I forgot to mention that i already have a 3" turboback and its just not doin me justice.. its way to tame! and how exactly would an exhaust cutout work? could i do it to my current setup?

I hope youre not trying to make it loud and obnoxious like a ricer. If not, the Thermal is always a good option.

If you go e-cutout its place somewhere in your current exhaust some people do the dp) and with a flick of the switch all the exhaust is basically rerouted out the cutout hole. Its for off-road use only.

Some of my buddies have it for when they are at the track or when they just feel like playing around.

No definately not looking for a ricer sound.. i dont even think thats possible with a 4g63 they sound too deep, a couple of my friends have a 3 inch straight through just into a muffler with open dump and it sounds freakin awesome thats what im kinda looking for.

And on the e-cutout would it still have some back pressure too it? i feel like it being wide open like that right off the down pipe would make it run like crap

I had a 2.5 exhaust from the header back no cat and a Hks hi-power muffler. It was a screamer.

^^ +1 You wouldn't think that a regular old straight through fart can style muffler would quiet a car down that much, but they really do. Get rid of the muffler, get a good looking tip welded on. Win.

Apexi n1 3inch down pipe, cat back and test pipe (cat delete), can you say loud, with a grumble, and still screams. (ear s3x) nuff said

I ran open o2 for about a year and a half (stupid idea), but aside from sounding like shit, it screamed. I'd assume that an electric cutout would sound about as awesome if you're close to the turbo.

As far as running like crap, that isn't the case. My old 6152 enjoyed the lack of back pressure quite a bit.

No need to worry about backpressure on a turbocharged engine. The more open/less backpressure the better!

And on my model you cannot disable it. I have a 2 year older model in my truck and it has a menu option. not this mofo. WTF were they thinking?

To contribute, I can hear the turbo whistle, usually on decell only though, after I punch it a bit. you need either a bigger turbo, or a diesel truck or cams or something to hear it all the time. (a buddys cummins diesel is nasty sounding)

Yeah I was always told that the more free flowing the better. Thats why alot of people run open dp or straiggt pipe. Not entirely sure if its true cause everyone I know that does it are all running pretty good sized turbos.

My brother-in-law's old srt whistled at idle and he just changed the dp.it was 3" from the turbo back with the mopar dual tip exhaust. No cat.

I run a 2.5in exhaust with no cat/res/muffler and i think it sounds great. Spool-up is insane and the turbine whistle is awesome. If you dont care about emissions and noise then this is the way to go.

Fixed haha im going to run my hx40 with just the test pipe and down pipe for a while, Maybe until i get pulled over, ah yes i also have a manifold mounted tial 38mm that screams dumped to atmos, comes highly recommended.
