Whats the best exhaust system you guys would go with under $400 3in preferable and no slanted exhaust tips I hate that. Best for the lowest $ I am looking for.

I went to an exhaust shop with about that much cash and they hooked me up pretty good. the removed the 2 silencers and put 3" pipe back to the muffler. i dont remember the name of the muffler but it makes a nice deep sound and along with the mods i made to the intake it made a huge difference in power.

I drove to buscher which is 35 minutes away from my main residence and picked up a 2g AWD cat back for 350; however, that was when they had a sale, i don' t know if they still have it or not. Their downpipe was 250, and test tube was 50.

Oh the catback came with a magnaflow muffler which sounds very different for a four cylinder, even the mustang guys i hang out with said that it sounds mean.

Anyone link me to a Bosal cat-back all I see are for non-turbo. Anyone else find any nice ones under $400 I just keep finding crappy ones or non turbo ones

know anyone with a welder? you can find decent mufflers for not too much. my friends and I are goign to make my own exhaust. 3 from downpipe back. goign to buy probably 2 180 degree mandrel bends, straight tubing and then a flange for the O2 housing. get it all setup and tack it together, then one of my friends is gogin to weld it up nicely for me. other idea is make all the pipes then have some shop weld it for ya.

this all should cost me less than $300. and half of that price is the muffler I'm getting. this also is a complete exhaust from O2 back and not jsut a catback. going to put some heat shields on the exhaust towards the middle so echeck "thinks" their is a cat converter.
