If you have a connection in the CA DMV, might be a good purchase. But it could also be nearly impossible to get it registered. If you're outside of CA, go get it!

My eyes spot a aqua/blue door inside so it looks like it has had some "other" work on it also.
I, personally, don't see 10k, especially without a title. I have a no title 1ga that is maroon that I'd love to drive but the title is missing and getting one is a real PITA here. So it is a complete parts car now.
Maybe I'm to harsh but it seems like a lot for it and it doesn't run either.
Maybe my car has value in it also

A 90 Talon TSI with 28k miles just went Reserve Not Met at $31,500 on Bring a Trailer. The car looked great in the photos, although the dash cover was starting to bulge. I'm not surprised on the bidding cresting $30k, but wonder what the seller was thinking here.
The photos are worth a look, though, if you want to remember how these cars are when new.
