So I just changed my head gasket, timing belt, water pump etc, the whole nine yards. After I was done my laser fired right up not problem. Drove it for about an hour stopping at every gas station checking for leaks nothing, I went back home let it cool down, then I took it for another drive at my first stop at a gas station I smell coolant. I looked under the car there was a big puddle of coolant. I took it back home and look into it and I know is not the water pump or head gasket what else could it be. The leak is behind the engine on the driver side. Is there anything running coolant besides the head and water pump. The leak is not continues it only leaks sometimes and my temp gage still normal it hasn’t overheat on me. Any ideas of what could be causing this leak. Any help would be appreciated thanks every1.

The only thing that really comes to mind for me are the heater core hoses that run through the firewall, but they are more toward the passenger side of the car then the driver side.
