battery in the back?

well i wanted to know where i can get a kit to move my battery in the trunk so i coul have more room in the engin bay.

If i do this is do i have to get a differnt battery or some thing to compsinate for the loss of wattage or something?

Battery relocation is pretty much DIY.

You have to find out if you want to have a full sized battery (if you have stereo stuff) or a small odessy (sp?). Do you want to mount it out of sight, under the spare cover, or on top on a custom made board? How are you gonna carry a spare, or get to it?

Lots of questions to answer.

I just got rid of the washer resevoir and spare tire bracket, then mounted a sealed morroso box back there. Mounted a cutoff switch on the back pannel where the plate is mountet, and ran 1/0 gauge welding cable up to the front. I used a rockford fosgate distrobution block to hook it up to the factory wires.

If you dont want to go throught the hassle of putting a kit together then you should visit summitracing.com. They have relocation kits that consist of different parts and range in price starting at about 65 bucks. Hope it helps

the kits from summit and jegs are nice, because they come with a box to put the battery in.
