Okay I'm not gonna give you some bull crap story. I was picking my car up from the shop and the battery was dead and the shop owner gave me another battery and I was rushing as it was 3 degrees and I managed to hook it up backwards. I hooked it up the right way and it just cranked but wouldnt fire. All of my fuses were blown so all of those and the relays were replaced and it still wouldn't start so I went and bought another ecu from a 95 talon esi manual same as my 95 eclipse gs. And it still won't start. Any ideas?

My best advise is to buy a multimeter and find a wiring diagram and start checking for power at things like the ecu, sensors, injectors and so on.

Every fuse that blew has been replaced. And I have a feeling that this has happened to this car before..i bought it needing an ecu and some for wiring harness. After my little incident my dad won't let me check anything myself and I'm 18..which is ridiculous. My dad is having the car sent to a dealership..at my expense without my permission.

You could have blown any number of things. I know when I did this to my car I blew the MAF, the ECU, and the main engine 100amp fusible link. I count myself lucky that it was only those things.

Sounds like you either need to put your foot down and tell dad otherwise, or just deal with it. It could get very expensive at a dealership. It won't take long before the bill exceeds the value of the car.

My repairs already have..bought the car for 400 and already have $1983 in it before this..everything was supposed to be done for $1050. I shouldn't have bought it. On the bright side my engine only has 63,xxx and I don't have an ugly car.

ONLY WAY TO BECOME A GREAT MECHANIC, IS TO BE A MECHANIC!

show daddy this and see what he replies.
At age 15 my dad already knew he had nothing to worry about cause of what he had seen me do when he wasnt around ;)

I work on most things myself and this was the only time I screwed up. I do all the work on my cars and even his truck! I paid for my car. I tell him as it is most of the time. Right now I don't really have much time to work on it..I work way too much.
