I have been searching around but have found nothing that really answers my questions.

Does anyone have full install instructions for the MAF translator?
Also does anyone have the basic settings for a 2g that is venting to atmosphere and intake?

i am going to be ordering my blow threw setup this week from dejon i believe...unless there is another place that might have it cheaper...?

thanks

so how do i go about setting up the translator if i don't have a pocket logger?

where can i purchase a pocket logger?

im guessing there are know basic settings for the translator?
for now all i really need to do is find the settings to lean out my car when venting my bov to the atmosphere

You dont need the loggers to run the setup. They are saying to do any real tunning, either with the fuel, or intake, you will need something that can see what is going on in your engine, and that is where the pocketlogger comes into play. You can buy the loggers online on e-bay or www.pocketlogger.com But you are going to need a palm pilot as well

If you are thinking about getting this setup just to vent your BOV your wasting your time and money. The MAFT is a big modification and without supporting mods you will not be running the best.

the only does the pocketlogger offer a version for a 2g?

i am getting the setup for the future but at the moment all i have is a bov. Will i bea ble to set up my car to run better than it is now?

yes they make cables from 2gs. pocket logger does NOTHING but tell you what is going on with your engine, tuning is done by something else like an S-AFC etc..

You can get shareware for you computer just gotta know where to look. If you go on e-bay and search Data Logging cable or something like that you will find one for the DSMand it hooks up to the laptop computers, They come with the software, they are only 40 bucks and a good deal if you have an extra laptop laying around

so i have come to the conclusion that for my needs the maft setup is not what i need...i think i am just going to go with a new intake and change to a greddy bov...and now worry about venting.

from what i hear the greddy sounds great even when it is recirculated
