MAFT 1.3 Setup

So I tune with Ecuflash but I got an older maft so I could run a blowthrough setup. I won't be tuning with it at all so I set all 5 knobs to 0. So do I need to use the white wire with it since I'm not tuning with it at all? And do I set all the dip switches off?

if you mean white wire the one thats an rpm signal input. Then I would still hook it up, Im not sure if it would run right w/o it
