Balance shaft question

if my balance shaft belt broke without hiting the timing belt what kind of noise would the engine make without it?

I would say the consensus would be HELLACIOUS vibration - Now what in the HELL are you doing with BS still in a 91? Are you just hell bent on destroying that 6 Bolt or what? Get off your butt & do the BSE!!

Definately agree with that^^^, get the BS out of there or next time it may take the timing belt with it then there's a good possibility of that taking your engine outta comishion.
