Well I have a balance shaft removal kit but the stub shaft does not have an oil groove. This worries me. I have heard on some people burning up the oil pump due to this but I have no confirmation that its the actual cause. I have seen pictures with no oil groove and I don;'t know what i should think. is it ok?

this is my kit

How much did you pay? Because the money you saved you'll put towards a new oem oil pump and BSE kit. Buy the right kit. I recommend the FFWD kit becuase it eliminates the balance shaft sprocket behind the crank sprocket. It 60 bucks.
